Early Adopter Program

FMX Futures Exchange, LP (“FMX”) is announcing its intention to implement an early adopter cost recovery program (the “Program”) for at least three early adopter US-based FCMs who agree to the terms of the Program, can meet the below criteria, and are accepted into the Program.

Criteria for eligibility include:

  1. You must be an FCM;
  2. You must satisfy all eligibility requirements set forth in the FMX Rulebook as of the date you are onboarded as an FMX Participant.
  3. You must not be an active FMX Participant under any existing contract or agreement;
  4. You must attest to your ability to be onboarded as an FMX Participant by the FMX Deadline Date;
  5. You must complete and submit the Early Adopter Program Indication of Interest (“IOI”) form, which can be found in the Application Process section of this website by June 2, 2025, including attestations regarding reasonable expectation to complete onboarding to FMX and  LCH Limited to offer clearing services, and to fund any default fund requirements by the FMX Deadline Date;
  6. You must complete and submit the Early Adopter Costs Template form, which can be found in the Application Process section of this website, including a reasonable estimate of itemized expected costs associated with onboarding to FMX and to LCH Limited by the FMX Deadline Date; and which, for the avoidance of doubt, must be submitted to FMX no later than June 2, 2025;
  7. This executed Agreement must be returned within five (5) business days of the submission of the IOI and the Early Adopter Costs Template form, but no later than June 9, 2025;
  8. You (or an affiliated entity) must not be or intend to be an investor, owner, or equity holder of FMX Holdings, LLC (f/k/a Fenics Markets Xchange, LLC) (the indirect owner of FMX) and
  9. You must not be BGC Group, Inc., Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., or any affiliate of BGC Group, Inc., Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., or FMX Holdings, LLC.

Application Process:

Step 1    Complete and Return the Early Adopter Program Indication of Interest Form with Attestations along with the Early Adopter Costs Template by June 2, 2025 and submit both forms to [email protected]

Step 2    ​Contact [email protected] to Request the Early Adopter Program Agreement, which must be Executed and Returned no later than June 9, 2025.

Please Note: Any delay in return of the Early Adopter Program Agreement beyond June 9, 2025 may result in exclusion from the Program.

Disclaimers:

  1. The Early Adopter Program is subject to approval by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”). Participation in the Program is contingent upon receiving the necessary regulatory clearances and approvals from the CFTC, and any aspects of the Program may be modified or suspended in accordance with such approval. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that all activities within the Program are contingent upon compliance with applicable regulations and the final approval from the CFTC.
  2. Any capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Early Adopter Program Agreement.
